Confirmed Twisted Forms
Twisted Dandy is the corrupted boss variant of the main character, appearing as an endgame threat. Twisted forms are enemies, not playable Toons. Understanding this form is essential for advanced players.
Twisted form of Astro. Encountering Twisted Astro grants Research % toward unlocking the playable Astro (requires 100% Research).
Twisted form of Shelly. Research on this Twisted is required to unlock the playable Shelly (Main Character M-004).
Twisted form of Sprout. 100% Research on Twisted Sprout is required to unlock the playable Sprout (Main Character M-003).
Twisted form of Vee. 100% Research on Twisted Vee is required to unlock the playable Vee (Main Character M-005).
Twisted form of Waxwell, the newest Toon (released August 2026). 50% Research on Twisted Waxwell is required to unlock him.
Twisted form of Gigi. 50% Research on Twisted Gigi is required to unlock the playable Gigi.
What are Twisted forms?
Every playable Toon has a Twisted counterpart — a corrupted version that appears as an enemy. Twisted are how Dandy's World makes its characters into threats: the Toon you love to play as a survivor is also the monster hunting you.
Research & unlocking
Encountering a new Twisted grants Research % toward that character. Many Toons require 100% Research on their Twisted to unlock (Main Characters like Astro, Shelly, Sprout, and Vee), while regular Toons like Gigi and Waxwell need 50%.
Twisted Dandy — the boss
Twisted Dandy is the corrupted form of the game's main character and shopkeeper. He appears as an endgame boss, and is the most dangerous encounter in the game.
